I believe that all students can achieve at extraordinary levels when they have access to high-quality schools. As the Director of Investments at Philadelphia School Partnership, I identify opportunities for investment and work with partner schools to support their mission of providing an equitable and excellent education for the students of Philadelphia.
I have worked in and with schools for nearly 15 years. These experiences have continued to bolster my passion for serving the whole child. Before joining Philadelphia School Partnership, I served as an Assistant Principal with the Aspire Charter Network in Oakland, CA. My focus was building a positive school culture and fostering a community of staff, parents and other stakeholders that allowed students to thrive in their learning environment. Prior to living in California, I managed the academic, social-emotional and enrichment programming at an education nonprofit in New York City, where I launched a new program site. Before this role, I was an elementary school teacher in a New York City public school and at Success Academies. I joined the teaching force as a NYC Teaching Fellow and simultaneously pursued my Masters of Education from Lehman College. I graduated from Lafayette College in Easton, PA with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
